Who and what
Fourteen (14) students from Rio Grande High School (South Valley, Albuquerque, New Mexico) become familiar with water conservation and other environmental issues in the Southwest, and learn various water conservation and habitat restoration techniques through hands-on learning projects. Project support was by: Rio Grande High School, New Mexico Water Collaborative, Toyota Together Green Foundation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Partners Program, and many others.
Accomplishments
Conserved water by helping build 1 rainwater harvesting system and laying down over 200 ft of drip line
Completed 38 hours of classroom time
